Eligibility Criteria  

       Candidates should have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission.

       Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalency of qualification as determined by the association of Indian universities will form the guidelines to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology(botany&zoology) or maths,upto 12th standard level with 50% marks aggregate and with a pass in English language. For SC/ST 40% marks in aggregate is essential.

       Lateral Entry- Directly to second year B.Pharm.,

       Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the higher secondary course examination conducted by the government of Tamil Nadu should obtain an eligibility certificate from the The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR medical university, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

A pass in diploma in pharmacy of the government of Tamilnadu or other board of any other recognized as equivalent thereto by the authority of The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
