Computer department and laboratory

        The main objective of the Department of computer science and its application is to develop quality IT professionals by providing concept oriented subject knowledge supplemented with practical orientation. Apart from specialised knowledge and skills the programmes conducted by the department is to aim at all round personality development. incalcating values of honesty, sincerity, team spirit and work culture. Both PG and UG labs are equipped with highly configurered systems.In P.G lab there are 56 P4 computers networked with windows NT and Unix along with other pheripherals like scanner, laser printers,inkjet printers, etc,The UG lab is equipped with 46 pentium computers and 72 pentium 4 computers working in DOS platform, networked by LAN.

Library Facilities

        The college is providing a well equipped library with wide variety of literature spread in books and journals. It provides an opportunity to the students and the faculty to retrive information and acquire knowledge.The library stocks books relating to Arts and Science, technical, health, fine arts literature and other general subjects etc. Presently the library is housing over 25,000 volumes on various newspapers, journals and magazines consisting of weekly,bi monthly,monthly and dailies. Each student is entitled to borrow books for thier reference.This will enable most students to obtain recommended books and materials reasonatly and quickly.

Hostel

        The college has an excellent hostel building for women with full furnished and highly sophisticated rooms where atleast 600 students can be accommodated. The students are provided high class vegetable food at a nominal amount of mess fees. Ten thousend litres per day capacity of water purification system has been installed in the college.It fulfills the total drinking water requirements of the whole campus. A residential lady doctor is also accommodated with the students. In addition,for the entertainment of the students audio system, video projection hall Computers with internet facility, newspapers, journals, magazines, indoor games such as table tennis,carrom,chess are provided.

Transport facilities

        The college has 7 Buses which are made available to the students and the staff members for commuting not only from nearby towns but also from the sub urbans. Buses are operated from komarapalayam,Bhavani,Erode,Sangagiri,Trichencode and other important towns.

        The JKK Nataraja College of Arts and Science has a placement cell which arranges campus interview by some highly reputed organizations to the students of various diciplines particularly to MCA students.This cell also arranges the BCS students to go for industrial training and BBM students for bank training. Industrial visits to reputed companies are also arranged to learn industrial activities.,As this colleges interacts with reputed organisations all over india ,it is very easy to the placement cell for arranging campus interview for the placement of graduating students.
